  • Experience with reactive programming using RxJS and state management with NgRx or Redux
  • Experience designing front-end architecture and reusable component libraries shared across applications
  • Skills in responsive, accessible, cross-browser development and performance optimization, including bundle size, lazy loading, and rendering
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, including authentication, pagination, and error handling
  • Experience with unit and automated testing using tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and comfort working in a small team with short deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
  • Preferred, but not required: experience with micro-frontends such as Module Federation, data grids or charting libraries such as AG Grid or ECharts, rolling out AI coding tools to teams, agent-based AI tools, custom instructions or MCP servers, AI design-to-code tools, Node.js, or OpenShift routes, config maps, Helm charts, or Pipelines

Responsibilities:

  • Establish practical front-end standards and reusable patterns suited to a small, fast-moving team
  • Create reusable components and shared libraries for use across screens and projects
  • Deliver responsive, accessible (WCAG/ARIA), cross-browser interfaces
  • Integrate REST APIs and backend services, handling authentication, errors, and loading states
  • Optimize application performance, including bundle size, lazy loading, rendering, and change detection
  • Collaborate directly with clients, backend developers, and designers, often without dedicated business analysis or QA support
  • Review code, pair with fellow developers, and support their growth
  • Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, and uphold CI/CD pipelines and quality checks
  • Estimate work, raise risks early, and plan in short cycles
  • Investigate production issues and identify root causes
  • Use AI coding tools daily for coding, testing, refactoring, debugging, and documentation
  • Help the team use AI tools effectively through shared prompts, reusable instructions, and examples based on the clients codebase
