Mobile Application Developer

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
Progressive experience in mobile application development, depending on level
iOS proficiency with Swift, Objective-C, and Xcode, and/or Android proficiency with Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
Familiarity with Agile methodologies; SAFe experience is preferred
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain mobile banking features for iOS and/or Android
Resolve production issues and improve platform stability and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, including front-end, back-end, and product stakeholders
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement
Follow platform-specific development standards and best practices
Write and maintain unit and UI tests, and take part in peer code reviews
Keep up with mobile operating system updates, development trends, and emerging technologies
Promote platform excellence and help build reusable component libraries
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team
At senior levels, support enterprise-wide mobile initiatives and help shape platform strategy

Technologies:

We have multiple openings. These roles follow a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days onsite, and can be based in Vienna, Virginia, or Winchester, Virginia.
