Requirements:
- We seek a strong grasp of modern data center networking, including EVPN-VXLAN, BGP, MLAG, QoS, and traffic engineering.
- We require deep knowledge of RoCEv2, RDMA transport tuning, ECN/PFC, and lossless Ethernet design.
- We value hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible and programming languages such as Python, Golang, Rust, or PHP.
- We look for familiarity with telemetry and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, or similar.
- We expect prior experience integrating with source-of-truth platforms such as NetBox, Nautobot, OpsMill, or comparable systems for topology and configuration management.
- We require knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD for continuous delivery of network automation.
- We want a strong Linux networking background, including namespaces, netlink, and system-level troubleshooting.
- We prefer candidates with experience working in large-scale data center or fabric automation environments.
- We seek applicants who can collaborate across engineering disciplines and solve complex network issues.
- Relevant education, certifications, and professional experience will be considered in relation to the role.
Responsibilities:
- We automate the deployment and ongoing operations of large-scale RDMA (RoCEv2) Ethernet fabrics across our data centers.
- We build Ansible- and Python-based frameworks to provision, validate, and remediate underlay and overlay networks.
- We integrate network automation with our source-of-truth systems for intent-based configuration and verification.
- We develop telemetry ingestion and correlation pipelines using tools such as gNMI, Prometheus, Kafka, and custom collectors to track real-time health and performance.
- We partner with platform, orchestration, and product engineering teams to improve RDMA performance, PFC/ECN behavior, and path symmetry.
- We implement CI/CD workflows for network configuration changes, including validation, pre-checks, and rollback procedures.
- We investigate complex network behavior across layers, including flow hashing, congestion domains, ECMP, and overlay interactions.
- We contribute to the architecture of next-generation GPU and AI interconnect fabrics and align them with our global network design.
