Onsite Computer Technician

Requirements:

• Experience supporting Windows-based end-user computing environments, including hardware, software, peripherals, and productivity applications
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Windows troubleshooting, endpoint support, and common enterprise IT tools
• Experience supporting onsite and remote workers, including senior management and executive users
• Ability to follow established IT processes, security requirements, and asset management procedures
• Strong communication, customer service, documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize service requests, meet service-level expectations, and provide after-hours support when required
• Customer-focused approach, attention to detail, security awareness, accountability, dependability, and sound independent judgment

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and configure computer hardware, software, peripherals, and Microsoft technologies
• Provide technical support to onsite and remote users, including senior management and executives
• Resolve common Windows hardware and software issues, printer problems, and network or systems connectivity issues as needed
• Communicate with end users, client support personnel, peers, and supervisors about technical issues requiring resolution
• Track and report IT hardware and software inventory
• Pack and ship IT equipment securely to remote employees
• Coordinate with other departments as the IT liaison when the Supervisor or Team Lead is unavailable
• Follow company guidelines, standards, security requirements, and procedures
• Address incidents and service requests within established service-level agreements
• Participate in work-from-home video conferences as appropriate
• Remain available for after-hours support when needed and complete other assigned tasks
