Operational Technology Integration Specialist

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or four years of progressively responsible IT experience
• Extensive computer knowledge and the ability to solve complex problems with initiative and creativity
• Prior experience or knowledge of PLCs, I/O integration, electronics, automation, industrial equipment, and related software
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as C#, Python, or Visual Basic to create integrations or automations
• Experience managing enterprise networks, including working knowledge of VLANs, static routing, ARP, firewalls, switches, and basic network troubleshooting
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and related endpoint and server technologies
• Experience or knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
• Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server, Actian Zen, or other database servers in an enterprise environment
• Patience and experience providing customer service and direct end-user support
• Ability to manage multiple large projects and meet milestones and deadlines
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly and courteously to nontechnical staff
• Ability to stay organized, work independently, and collaborate with colleagues at all levels
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Experience with Prima Power, TRUMPF, BLM, or other industrial equipment manufacturers is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our departments to improve processes, streamline workflows, and automate production by connecting our ERP system with facility OT equipment
• Help manage network infrastructure, including installing, administering, and configuring industrial equipment connected to our enterprise network
• Partner with production leadership to automate processes using APIs, scripts, custom applications, or other methods to increase efficiency and reduce human error
• Provide technical support to machine operators, maintenance staff, vendors, and others working with network-connected industrial equipment
• Communicate with our customers to resolve problems efficiently, coordinate downtime, and confirm issues are satisfactorily addressed
• Work with maintenance staff to resolve critical equipment outages promptly, with occasional after-hours or weekend work as needed
• Carry out other related duties as assigned
