Oracle Database Developer

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience, including packages, procedures, functions, and database development
• Senior-level developer experience, with approximately 6–10 years of relevant experience
• Experience with UNIX/Linux, system-to-system integrations, data translations, and ETL processes
• Exposure to Oracle 19c or another current Oracle environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of development tasks
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder residing in the U.S. due to government- and military-related work

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Oracle database objects, including tables, views, procedures, functions, and packages
• Create and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for data retrieval, processing, and reporting
• Support ETL processes for loading, transforming, and validating data
• Develop and maintain UNIX/Linux shell scripts for automation and batch processing
• Troubleshoot and resolve database, ETL, and data quality issues
• Tune queries and applications for performance
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support
• Maintain technical documentation and follow development standards
• Enhance and maintain existing database applications and processes
