Oracle Developer

Requirements:

• 6–10 years of hands-on Oracle database development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience creating and working with stored procedures, packages, functions, and complex queries.
• Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning and execution plan analysis.
• Experience debugging database code and resolving production issues.
• Ability to analyze data discrepancies and develop validation and reconciliation scripts.
• Knowledge of Oracle database connectivity and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Java and JDBC is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting Java applications that interact with Oracle databases is preferred.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Oracle databases and work with stored procedures, packages, functions, and complex queries.
• Tune SQL performance and analyze execution plans.
• Debug database code and resolve production issues.
• Analyze data discrepancies and create validation and reconciliation scripts.
• Troubleshoot Oracle database connectivity and, where applicable, Java applications that interact with Oracle databases.
