Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
• At least one year of experience in each of the following areas: cloud architecture and implementation; infrastructure as code or automation using CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform; scripting or programming with languages such as Java, Python, or Bash; scalable CI/CD strategies using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions; and microservice or serverless orchestration architectures such as Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, or Lambda.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with customers to understand their infrastructure and software development needs and advise them on AWS DevOps best practices.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK.
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Advise customers on security best practices and implement controls to safeguard their data and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve complex software development, infrastructure, and network connectivity issues.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement by maintaining documentation, delivering training, and contributing to best-practice libraries.
• Keep current with developments in DevOps and cloud computing and continually strengthen relevant skills and knowledge.

We are hiring for multiple Professional Services II positions (AMZ20067.6) with Amazon in Jersey City, New Jersey. The role is scheduled for 40 hours per week, generally from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and may require domestic travel of up to 10%. The annual base salary range is $144,500–$195,400; actual pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
