Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience in Python backend software development
- Strong knowledge of Python, its ecosystem, and backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI
- Understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns including Microservices and MVC, and object-oriented programming
- Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and microservices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their associated services
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows
- Understanding of API security, authentication and authorization, data protection, and secure coding practices
- Experience optimizing application performance and addressing scalability, caching, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
