Python Developer

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors or university degree, or equivalent experience, in a STEM-related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• We are looking for 2–5 years of experience developing applications with Python.
• We need experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms is required.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or comparable Python frameworks is needed.
• Knowledge of SQL and database technologies is required.
• Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing is needed.
• Experience working in Linux environments is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams is required.
• Preferred experience includes Agentic AI frameworks, MCP, LLMs, and GenAI solutions.
• Preferred familiarity with Kafka, MQ, or event-streaming platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies is preferred.
• Banking, risk management, or financial services experience is preferred.
• Understanding of distributed systems, observability, and platform monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• We design, develop, test, and support Python-based applications and services.

• We participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• We implement monitoring, logging, and operational controls to help ensure service reliability.
• We contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• We work with messaging and event-streaming technologies to support asynchronous processing.
• We collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze requirements and create technical solutions.
• We support issue resolution, performance tuning, and application enhancements.
• We document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
• We follow established security, governance, and risk management standards.

We are offering a Python Developer role within our Technology organization, working in a hybrid model with three days per week onsite in Irving, TX. In this role, we build and support modern software solutions using Python, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and emerging AI technologies. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, architects, and business partners to deliver scalable, secure applications while working within our engineering and governance standards.
