Python Full Stack Developer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or TypeScript, and a front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows; understanding of software development methodologies and version control.
• Strong knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Preferred: knowledge of fixed income products; experience developing risk and pricing applications; familiarity with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevOps practices, RabbitMQ or Kafka, automated testing frameworks, Agile/Scrum, microservices, or distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Python-based frameworks.
• Build backend services, RESTful APIs, and integrations, as well as responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces.
• Work with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and developers to understand business and technical needs and deliver quality software.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and contribute to engineering practices through code reviews.
• Design and optimize databases, queries, and data models.
• Perform unit and integration testing, debug applications, and address performance, security, and scalability issues.
• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud or on-premises environments, monitor performance, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and recommend development process improvements.
