QA Analyst & Automation Specialist

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Java-based automation frameworks and Playwright with TypeScript.
• Proficiency in API testing, backend validation, and performance testing.
• Experience testing SaaS applications, including integrations and workflows.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint, OpenAPI, and Swagger.
• Comfort with version control systems and command-line execution of test scripts.
• Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Experience with OnBase workflows and DocuSign is a plus.
• Ability to critically assess UI and API requirements and ask insightful questions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in manual and automated testing.
• Success working in Agile environments and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and business stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to quality improvements and thorough documentation.
• Interest in continuous learning and integrating AI tools into QA practices.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of QA experience combining manual and automation testing.
• Demonstrated experience developing frameworks, supporting UAT, and testing SaaS applications.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review business and technical requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright with TypeScript and Java-based frameworks.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across SaaS platforms and backend systems.
• Support and facilitate User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders, including demos and walkthroughs.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Test APIs using tools such as Postman, validate backend data with SQL, and check conformance with OpenAPI and Swagger.
• Create and run performance tests using JMeter for UI and APIs.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working with development and product teams to resolve them.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to QA processes and best practices.
• Evaluate and implement automation and AI tools to improve productivity and test coverage.
