QA Automation

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of experience in software testing and QA automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Expertise in UI automation, API testing, and end-to-end testing
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML payload validation, and API authentication methods
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and Gherkin
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Preferred: experience with Docker or containerized test execution, AWS or Azure, performance or security testing, SQL-based database testing, microservices, or SonarQube and other code quality tools

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Create and run automated UI, API, and end-to-end test scripts
• Develop reusable automation utilities, libraries, and components
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API capabilities
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and report defects
• Collaborate with development and business teams during sprint planning and release cycles
• Maintain test coverage and test data, and follow automation best practices
• Participate in code reviews and improve automation frameworks
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum activities and continuous quality improvement
• Support regression, smoke, sanity, and cross-browser testing
• Produce automation reports and dashboards for stakeholders
• Implement AI-powered automation for intelligent test execution and reporting
• Build or integrate agentic AI workflows for test case generation, self-healing locators, root cause analysis, failure clustering, test data generation, and requirement-to-test traceability
• Work with teams to incorporate AI testing capabilities into existing frameworks and pipelines, improving QA productivity, automation coverage, and release quality
