QA Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in software development or testing, with strong business analysis skills and the ability to understand critical application workflows.
• Proficiency in an automation scripting language such as Python or JavaScript, including experience automating REST API tests.
• Proficiency in API and integration test automation.
• Experience with Selenium, Python, SQL, Git, Splunk, CI/CD pipelines, and ITSM tools.
• Experience testing Voice/VoIP/SIP-based systems and conducting accessibility testing against WCAG or equivalent standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; self-motivated, proactive, and accountable.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for REST APIs and web applications.
• Build and execute test automation strategies for Voice/VoIP/SIP-based systems and features.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across the application stack.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data integrity and support test case design.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster releases.
• Use Git to manage test code and collaborate with others.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application logs in Splunk to identify and diagnose defects.
• Conduct accessibility testing to assess compliance with relevant standards.
• Manage and track defects and incidents through ITSM tools as part of the QA lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Communicate test results, risks, and quality metrics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and best practices.
