QA Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of quality assurance and test automation experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar programming language
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing in modern DevOps environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated-industry experience is strongly preferred
• Exposure to AI technologies, AI-assisted software development, or AI-driven test automation is preferred
• Experience with API testing tools and frameworks is preferred
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and modern application architectures is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright
• Perform load testing with JMeter
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects to support quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Develop automated testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and microservices
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
• Explore and use AI-assisted testing tools and practices to improve efficiency and test coverage
