QA Engineer/SDET

Requirements:

• Experience building scalable test automation standards, methods, and QA systems.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Tekton, or Argo CD.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for coding, requirements analysis, test creation, debugging, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, JUnit or TestNG, REST and contract testing, and performance testing.
• Experience with container and Kubernetes test harnesses across Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with security and compliance testing, including SAST, DAST, SCA, infrastructure-as-code scanning, and policy-as-code.
• AWS experience, including multi-account and VPC patterns and network segmentation.
• Experience migrating containerized workloads and data tiers from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Familiarity with FISMA High and FedRAMP High practices, STIGs, and NIST 800-53 controls.
• Proficiency with Linux and experience in Java application environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in cloud and lab environments.
• Effective communication skills for working within Scaled Agile teams.
• Must be willing and able to work on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct software testing across unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security domains.
• Develop test plans and automated scripts, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead the generation and maintenance of test scripts using modern AI tools.
• Debug software issues, analyze failures, and identify root causes.
• Test features for cloud-native Java services running on ECS, EKS, and OpenShift.
• Validate Dev, Test, and Ops environments and manage lab setups.
• Incorporate security and compliance testing, including SAST, DAST, and control validation.
• Work directly with developers in Agile teams.
• Support continuous monitoring and evidence generation for ATO.
