Resident Network Engineer - Data Center

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a related field
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
• Experience in data center network operations
• Knowledge of EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS/MPLS-TE, BGP, OSPF, RSVP, LDP, L2VPN/L3VPN, pseudowires, and multicast
• Willingness to work on-site in Columbia, Maryland
• Preferred: Experience with Juniper QFX, MX, EX, or SRX platforms
• Preferred: Juniper or other vendor certifications, such as JNCIE, JNCIP, or CCIE
• Preferred: Data center network design or architecture experience

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a large data center network spanning routing, switching, and security platforms
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in high-pressure situations
• Manage support cases with the manufacturer through resolution
• Produce root cause analyses
• Lead technology briefings and training sessions for the customer
