Sales Application Engineer

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with a strong willingness and aptitude to learn new skills.
• Ideally, we have experience in the manufacturing industry; automation experience is a plus.
• We can read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• We have a general understanding of PLC-based controls, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems, including the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Ideally, we have experience with conventional toolroom equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges, as well as manual lathes, mills, and surface-grinding equipment.
• We are comfortable using standard office software packages, including Microsoft products.
• Ideally, we have experience with CAD software.
• We are prepared to travel up to 20% annually.

Responsibilities:

• We maintain customer relationships through multiple communication channels.
• We conduct in-person visits with customers.
• We perform application testing and evaluation.
• We assist with product selection and develop solutions.
• We prepare proposals.
• We complete follow-up communication.
