Scrum Master

Requirements:

• We are looking for experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Project Manager, or in a comparable enterprise agile role.
• We need strong hands-on knowledge of Jira, including epic and story structure, boards and workflows, work categorization, and reporting or dashboard setup.
• We require experience helping users who have limited exposure to agile practices and Jira tools.
• We are seeking the ability to adapt Scrum and agile principles for operational, business, or hybrid delivery settings.
• We need experience tracking both project-based initiatives and BAU operational work.
• We value excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• We need someone who can work effectively in changing processes and evolving organizational structures.
• Preferred: experience supporting finance, operations, or other business-focused teams outside of software engineering.
• Preferred: familiarity with lightweight or hybrid agile delivery models.
• Preferred: experience building operational reporting frameworks and work visibility metrics.
• Preferred: prior background in financial services or similarly regulated enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you support the rollout and ongoing refinement of a lightweight agile delivery framework across business and operational teams.
• We will rely on you to help stakeholders record, organize, and monitor work in Jira to improve monthly reporting and operational visibility.
• We will ask you to coach users who are new to agile methods and Jira concepts such as epics, stories, workflows, and work classification.
• We will expect you to partner with leadership to design reporting structures that connect business work tracking to broader engineering and delivery metrics.
• We will need you to help teams separate and track funded project work from BAU and support activities for governance and reporting.
• We will have you configure and maintain Jira boards, workflows, custom fields, labels, and dashboards as business needs change.
• We will look to you for practical process improvement recommendations and guidance on agile adoption in non-traditional environments.
• We will expect you to support hybrid delivery models where work does not always follow standard sprint-based practices.
• We will ask you to act as a trusted advisor by encouraging consistent processes, clearer operational transparency, and accurate reporting.
• We will have you facilitate standups and other Scrum-related meetings as needed to support team coordination and delivery oversight.
• We will need you to stay adaptable and collaborative within an evolving organizational structure and delivery approach.
