SDET / QA Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer
• Hands-on expertise in Core Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright
• Experience with API automation using REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent tools
• Ability to write SQL queries for backend and database validation
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright
• Create reusable, maintainable automated tests for web applications using Page Object Model, data-driven, modular, or hybrid approaches
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing
• Develop automated tests for modern web applications using Playwright
• Support existing Selenium and Java test suites and contribute to modernization and migration efforts
• Automate REST API testing and validate backend data using SQL
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Investigate automation failures, identify root causes, and distinguish application defects from environment or script issues
• Collaborate with developers to identify defects early in the development lifecycle
• Improve test execution speed, stability, coverage, and maintainability
