Security Engineer II

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Technology, Mathematics, or a related field, plus one year of experience in the role offered or a related occupation.
• At least one year of experience in application and infrastructure information security; threat modeling or other risk identification methods; system security vulnerabilities and remediation, including penetration testing, source code review, advanced runtime and static vulnerability testing tools, and exploit development; programming in Java, C, C++, Perl, Ruby, or Python; and coordinating technical security tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide frontline support for information security issues, including penetration testing, network and service configuration, security policy compliance, data confidentiality, and monitoring and responding to emerging threats.
• Contribute to the development of information security policies and processes.
• Review application security and recommend solutions to address security issues.
• Provide information security support during events affecting tier-one customer-facing services.
• Identify and troubleshoot recurring issues, escalating them as needed for resolution.

We are hiring multiple Security Engineer II positions (AMZ27587.1) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The annual pay range is $159,300–$202,400; base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
