Senior Angular UI Developer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional front-end development experience, including at least 5 years developing enterprise applications with Angular.
• Experience building customer-facing applications that support critical business operations.
• Proficiency with Angular 16+, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, SCSS/CSS3, Angular Material and CDK, RxJS, REST API integration, Git, automated testing, and secure authentication using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and RBAC.
• Experience with Angular 20, AG Grid Enterprise, and Keycloak is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Financial services or capital markets experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise single-page applications using Angular 16+ and TypeScript, including standalone components, services, guards, interceptors, and reusable UI modules.
• Establish scalable front-end patterns for routing, forms, state management, API integration, and component composition, and contribute to architecture decisions and technical standards.
• Build and optimize AG Grid Enterprise solutions for large datasets, including filtering, editing, validation, exports, and real-time updates.
• Integrate REST APIs with typed request and response models, reusable service abstractions, and centralized error handling, logging, and retry patterns.
• Implement secure Keycloak authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, RBAC, route and permission guards, token refresh, session management, and cross-tab logout handling.
• Develop maintainable reactive state solutions with Angular Signals, RxJS, Observables, and BehaviorSubjects, with attention to performance and scalability.
• Create accessible, dynamic forms using reusable validation, conditional logic, and Reactive Forms, using Template-Driven Forms where appropriate.
• Develop responsive, event-driven interfaces using STOMP, WebSockets, SharedWorker, and cross-tab communication patterns.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, QA, and backend teams to deliver intuitive user experiences and production-ready features.
• Modernize established enterprise applications, strengthen secure and reusable Angular architecture, improve performance and accessibility, and advance consistent engineering standards.

We are hiring a full-time Senior Angular UI Developer for our client, a mission-driven financial institution that helps provide access to capital for agriculture and rural America through debt securities and financial and technology services nationwide. The role supports applications used by internal and external business and technology teams for debt issuance, funding operations, and enterprise services. It is based in Jersey City, New Jersey, with three days onsite, and the advertised salary range is $150,000–$175,000 per year.
