Senior Business Analyst

Requirements:

• Strong communication, organizational, written, and verbal skills, with close attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities
• Strong technical acumen and the ability to translate research and technical information into clear, non-technical language
• Proven experience leading complex software engineering projects and gathering requirements with business stakeholders
• Ability to document requirements using tools such as MS Visio, JIRA, and MS Excel
• Ability to understand business requirements and communicate them accurately to business stakeholders and technical teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
• Calm, reassuring demeanor and well-developed negotiation skills
• Self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership

Responsibilities:

• Research, understand, and document business processes and requirements with stakeholders using tools such as JIRA, Visio, SharePoint, PowerBI, and the MS Office Suite
• Analyze and document current and future states using UML methodologies
• Coordinate with software solution architects to communicate business needs, understand solution capabilities and constraints, and explain solution concepts to business partners
• Independently lead and document requirements-gathering sessions
• Create and maintain business requirements documentation using Agile methodology
• Develop clear, organized user stories and detailed system specifications
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to develop UI specifications
• Contribute to business analysis process maturity and governance programs
• Support software quality assurance through development, testing, and production release phases
• Create test cases, help execute tests across phases, and document results for development teams and stakeholders
• Work with development teams to investigate bugs and errors
• Partner with PowerBI super users to develop dashboard requirements and conduct analysis
• Work with project managers to deliver work throughout the software delivery lifecycle
• Coordinate with Network and Infrastructure teams as needed
• Carry out other software delivery duties as needed, including end-user training
