Senior Business Analyst

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience documenting functional requirements and technical specifications for existing and new applications.
• Strong writing, communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented approach and strong work ethic.
• Ability to collaborate with customers in cross-divisional groups, maintain productive working relationships, exercise independent judgment, and adapt to diverse communication styles.
• Ability to prepare and present clear, concise oral and written materials.
• Comprehensive knowledge of business analysis principles and practices and the PMI PMBOK Guide and Standards.
• Experience advising customers on strategies, alternatives, application customizations, and interface design implications.
• Strong understanding of application programming, databases, and systems design.
• Ability to manage complex assignments involving multiple work streams and tight timelines.
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and processes.
• Knowledge of and experience with IT Service Management best practices and principles.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, and Microsoft Project.
• Extensive understanding of the SharePoint end-user experience, including sites, libraries, lists, and groups.
• Healthcare data reporting systems experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct stakeholder analysis and market research.
• Identify and document current- and future-state process workflows.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, test scripts, and other Agile deliverables.
• Develop contextual diagrams, functional decompositions, and process workflows.
• Prepare business process models, use cases, wireframes, entity relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and system context diagrams.
• Gather, develop, document, and validate business, functional, technical, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements.
• Perform functional and integrated testing, and support user acceptance testing by developing test scenarios and cases.
• Prepare and maintain project analysis, reports, user documentation, and other project artifacts.
• Work with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business needs.
• Create and maintain the requirements traceability matrix and document gap analyses.
• Provide business analysis deliverables for procurement materials and assist with drafting procurement documentation as needed.
• Support required system go-live activities.
• Prepare meeting minutes for distribution to varied audiences.
• Follow PMO project management and business analysis methodologies and attend PMO meetings.
• Perform other related work as required.
