We are looking for an experienced ETL / Snowflake Engineer who combines strong data engineering skills with deep banking domain expertise, particularly in Balance Sheet Stress Testing, Risk Management, and Regulatory Reporting.

The ideal candidate will understand the underlying financial drivers and regulatory requirements behind banking processes, translating complex business needs into scalable, efficient, and reliable data solutions. They will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, challenge business assumptions where necessary, conduct detailed data investigations, and drive end-to-end delivery from requirements analysis through to production implementation.

This role is suited to professionals who thrive at the intersection of banking business analysis, advanced data engineering, and regulatory-driven data transformation.

✔️ Detailed description of work task to be carried out:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and modern data engineering technologies
• Analyze and interpret banking business requirements related to Balance Sheet Stress Testing, scenario analysis, capital adequacy, liquidity, and risk management processes
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, finance, treasury, risk, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of business logic
• Build and optimize data warehousing solutions supporting large-scale aggregation, transformation, and reporting of financial data
• Develop robust data models enabling stress testing simulations, statistical analysis, and management reporting
• Ensure high standards of data quality, reconciliation, lineage, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Support data preparation and provisioning for downstream analytical, reporting, and regulatory consumption layers
• Drive performance optimization, automation, and continuous improvement of data platforms and data processing frameworks

✔️ Must-have knowledge and experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and large-scale data warehousing solutions.
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes in complex enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of banking data, particularly in areas such as:

o Balance Sheet Management

o Stress Testing

o Treasury and Liquidity

o Finance and Regulatory Reporting

o Risk Management

o Capital Adequacy Frameworks

• Proven ability to perform complex data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and aggregation across multiple source systems.
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process modeling, stakeholder management, and translation of business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data preparation for analytical models.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and regulatory requirements impacting banking data landscapes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EBA, ECB, Basel, ICAAP, ILAAP, IRRBB, or other regulatory stress testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Data Vault, dimensional modeling, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
