Senior Google Cloud Platform Architect Engineer

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5–7 years of experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and securing enterprise-scale solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience working in complex, highly regulated, or multi-tenant cloud environments
• Deep expertise with GCP security tools, including Cloud IAM, Firewall Rules, KMS, Organization Policies, Security Command Center, Secret Manager, and VPC Service Controls
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud connectivity, Shared VPC architecture, zero-trust network access, and regional network management
• Preferred: GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with Terraform and CI/CD security integration
• Preferred: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience supporting secure cloud adoption across business teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level technical leadership, architecture reviews, and hands-on engineering support for complex GCP initiatives
• Design and implement GCP security frameworks covering organization policies, IAM, encryption, key management, and security telemetry
• Lead the architecture and technical delivery of new GCP services and solutions
• Support service enablement and ongoing cloud solution development

The role focuses on enabling and adopting new GCP services while providing hands-on technical leadership across cloud architecture, engineering, and security, with an emphasis on security, compliance, access controls, and governance.
