Senior Guidewire Developer (ClaimCenter)

Requirements:

• 6+ years of direct, hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter development experience
• Guidewire Associate Certification
• Strong ClaimCenter configuration experience, including product models, business rules, workflows, screens, validation, and integrations
• Solid knowledge of Gosu and Guidewire development methodologies
• Professional experience with Java, Spring Framework, and jQuery or web application development
• Demonstrated experience working with Guidewire Cloud
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and deployment practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
• Preferred: experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP), the Guidewire Palisades release, and Guidewire Cloud migrations, upgrades, or implementations
• Preferred: experience with PolicyCenter integrations and external system interfaces, Property & Casualty insurance, or Agile/Scrum environments
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and implement Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable Guidewire solutions
• Develop and maintain Guidewire applications using Gosu and Java-based technologies
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and developers throughout the development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot application issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutions
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, and deployment activities
• Support integrations and custom development using technologies such as Java, Spring, and jQuery
• Contribute to Guidewire Cloud development, configuration, upgrades, and deployments
• Keep current with Guidewire platform capabilities, development practices, and cloud releases

We are working with a regional insurance client seeking a Senior Guidewire Developer to help build and support modern insurance technology solutions. This is a contract-to-hire role based at our clients Louisville, Kentucky headquarters, with onsite work required at least three days per week. We are unable to engage third-party partners on a C2C or subcontract basis.
