Senior IT Solutions Manager

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in IT, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline; a masters degree is preferred.
• We look for at least 8 years of IT leadership experience, ideally supporting Purchasing and Supply Chain systems in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environments.
• We need proven experience implementing ERP and supply chain planning platforms, with SAP strongly preferred.
• We expect a strong background in managing a broad portfolio of IT and operations initiatives in line with governance standards and enterprise strategy.
• We require hands-on experience leading the full lifecycle of IT solution delivery, from planning and configuration through ongoing support and enhancement.
• We value demonstrated success in project leadership, project coordination, and supplier management.
• We need strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to think strategically and make decisions based on data.
• We require excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
• We value effective listening, diplomatic handling of complex or sensitive situations, and the ability to challenge users constructively when needed.
• We need the ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions that combine functional and technical expertise.
• We expect the ability to collaborate well with cross-functional partners and IT teams, work independently with limited direction, and keep leadership informed of key issues.
• We require the ability to work in a standard office setting for at least 8 hours per day.
• We require willingness and ability to travel intermittently within the U.S. and internationally by air.
• We expect comfort working in a hybrid environment, typically 2-3 days per week in the office, with travel of 15-25%.
• We require the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, project deadlines, and occasional schedule variations.

Responsibilities:

• We provide strategic direction to improve IT systems and processes across Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Operations.
• We partner closely with business stakeholders to anticipate technology needs, identify pain points, and deliver solutions that simplify and strengthen processes.
• We evaluate emerging tools and industry developments, recommending data-driven initiatives that support competitiveness and operational performance.
• We serve as the primary contact for Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, offering day-to-day support and helping drive adoption of IT solutions.
• We guide cross-functional groups through training, communication, and hands-on collaboration to maximize solution value and productivity.
• We monitor system stability and performance, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues proactively.
• We maintain high standards for data integrity and application functionality to support business and operational requirements.
• We participate in global initiatives that affect Operations, ensuring regional needs remain aligned with enterprise systems and standards.
• We identify opportunities to adapt existing global solutions for local use while protecting business continuity.
• We manage a portfolio of IT and operations projects, prioritizing work, assessing risks, and delivering against governance expectations and deadlines.
• We lead the end-to-end implementation of IT solutions, including planning, configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
• We continuously improve system capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
• We oversee vendor performance, track SLA compliance, and ensure partners meet contractual commitments.
• We negotiate vendor agreements to secure strong commercial terms while balancing cost and service quality.
• We act as the escalation point for supplier-related issues and drive prompt resolution to reduce operational disruption.
