Senior Java Developer with CURAM Experience

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience developing web applications with J2EE, XML, and related tools.
• Cúram V6, V7, or V8 Developer certification and at least 7 years of relevant experience; V8 is preferred.
• At least 7 years of social enterprise management experience.
• At least 7 years of Cúram development experience across the full lifecycle, from requirements through functional design and testing.
• At least 7 years of experience with both the Cúram Enterprise Framework and Cúram Solution Modules.
• At least 7 years of experience identifying problems and applying technical skills to resolve them.
• At least 7 years of experience explaining complex technical concepts to technical teams and non-IT business users.
• At least 7 years of experience preparing technical documents using Microsoft Office tools, including Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• At least 7 years of experience building customer relationships, responding to needs with urgency, and independently identifying options.
• At least 7 years of experience organizing, prioritizing, and following complex or detailed technical procedures.
• At least 5 years of experience with Cúram Enterprise Framework components, Cúram Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG2), and Cúram Express Rules for Triage (CERT).
• At least 5 years of technical knowledge in Eclipse, HTML, CSS, and web service standards such as SOAP and WSDL.
• Oracle database platform and tools experience is highly desired, with 5 years preferred.
• State government IT experience is highly desired, with 5 years preferred.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA is desired, with 3 years preferred.
• Cúram Web Services experience is desired, with 3 years preferred.
• AWS or other cloud development experience is desired, with 3 years preferred.
• Python programming experience is desired, with 3 years preferred.
• JavaScript and IBM WebSphere experience is a plus, with 3 years preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design, and programming for NC FAST application development and maintenance using Java, ReactJS, and Cúram.
• Work with the NC FAST Food Nutrition Services (FNS) team to design, develop, and maintain code for enhancements and defect fixes from the business change-request backlog.
• Support FNS payment error rate reduction efforts, including evidence automation, case approvals, and proactive quality-control alerts.
• Develop code for existing and new requirements in collaboration with FNS and other application development teams and program areas.
• Work with FNS business teams and stakeholders, and collaborate with the agile team to test FNS code.
• Coordinate with the release team on source control, code builds, and releases for FNS.
• Use Java and the IBM Cúram framework to understand and design underlying rules for FNS and SNAP products.
• Develop and support batches and interfaces for FNS payment error rate reduction efforts and related work.
