Senior .NET Backend Developer

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional backend software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C# and modern .NET development, including .NET 8 or .NET 9
• Extensive experience building APIs and backend services with ASP.NET Core
• Strong SQL development and database optimization skills, including experience designing and maintaining relational databases
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server
• Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, and application scalability
• Experience with asynchronous programming, concurrency, and multithreaded systems
• Familiarity with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting
• Experience using Git-based development workflows
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to support U.S. government, defense, and public sector customer programs
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or similar messaging platforms is a plus
• Experience building large-scale event-processing or message-ingestion systems is a plus
• DBA-level experience with query optimization, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and performance tuning is a plus
• Experience supporting frontend applications with large user bases is a plus
• Experience with Redis or other distributed caching solutions is a plus
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments is a plus
• Experience deploying applications in Azure is a plus
• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, or Elastic/ELK Stack is a plus
• Experience with Blazor is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core
