Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in backend, platform, infrastructure, or developer tools engineering
  • Strong proficiency in Go (preferred primary language) or Java/Kotlin, plus Python scripting
  • Production experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Tekton, Jenkins, or custom pipeline orchestrators
  • Hands-on experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, Flux, and Kustomize at scale across 10+ clusters or environments
  • Kubernetes experience, including operators, custom controllers, CRDs, and Helm chart development
  • Understanding of container registries and artifact management, such as Harbor, ECR, or Artifactory
  • Experience with build systems such as Bazel or Gradle, including reproducible builds, remote caching, and build graph optimization
  • Background in dependency analysis tooling or graph databases such as Neo4j, Dgraph, or custom implementations
  • Preferred: Experience with AWS tools such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Proton, or Service Catalog, or GCP tools such as Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, or Cloud Deploy
  • Preferred: Experience on developer platform teams at Stripe, Adyen, or Square
  • Preferred: Experience building internal developer platforms or platform-as-a-service offerings for engineering organizations
  • Preferred: Familiarity with supply chain security tools such as Sigstore, in-toto, or SBOM generation

Responsibilities:

  • Build module-level CI/CD pipelines that publish versioned Docker images and Kubernetes manifests, enforcing reproducible builds through hermetic environments, pinned toolchains, and deterministic outputs
  • Automate build provenance, including SLSA attestations, artifact signing, dependency-chain verification, and CI validation of required Golden Signals metrics endpoints
  • Develop a dependency graph database that combines static and runtime dependencies and supports impact-analysis queries
  • Create change-impact tools that identify affected modules, sites, and tests from a pull request, surface findings in the review interface, and run only relevant tests based on the dependency graph
  • Implement a GitOps deployment engine using ArgoCD or Flux to reconcile site configuration and promote releases from staging through canary to production, with monitoring and automatic rollback
  • Build site-provisioning tools that generate configuration repositories with pinned module versions and compliance parameters, along with a self-service console for configuration-type sites
  • Develop a version-management console for tracking module status and version drift, coordinating batch upgrades, generating changelogs, and checking compatibility before deployment
  • Implement a security patch pipeline that automatically creates required security pull requests across site repositories and tracks service-level agreements and escalations
  • Build a four-layer test orchestrator that selects tests by module, country, and scenario tags; runs them in parallel at scale; and detects coverage gaps to block deployments with actionable feedback

We are hiring a core builder for our Financial Cloud developer platform. You will work directly with our Platform Architect to turn architecture blueprints into production systems used daily by hundreds of engineers. The platform supports 50–100 versioned modules that are independently built, tested, composed, and deployed across dozens of global compliance sites.
