Senior QA Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated work experience
• At least 8 years of experience across complete software testing activities
• Experience with capital markets and FinTech; experience with indices or benchmarks, asset management, or portfolio investment modeling is beneficial
• Experience with market data, including equities, forex, or options; experience with high-volume, low-latency, real-time financial data platforms is preferred
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and testing frameworks
• Hands-on experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or Python
• Experience with Carina or Karate test frameworks is a plus
• SQL experience is required; PL/SQL, NoSQL databases, Linux/UNIX, Jenkins, and AWS knowledge are preferred
• Experience supporting test strategy, integrating multiple applications and systems, evaluating testing technologies, and reviewing test strategies and scripts
• Ability to proactively resolve issues and escalate them appropriately
• GenAI tools experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of release testing, sign-off, and deployment methods

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and automated testing for capital markets applications to support quality, reliability, and performance
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java or Python, and conduct regression, API, and end-to-end testing
• Validate data across SQL databases, ETL pipelines, and Data Services to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Use AI-powered tools and Agentic AI or GenAI assistants to improve test design, automation, defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and quality engineering productivity
• Develop and document test plans and cases based on software requirements and technical specifications
• Assess requirements and define testing objectives and approaches within an Agile methodology
• Continuously review and improve testing and quality assurance methods, and measure their effectiveness
• Address software quality assurance issues with Development, Database, Integration, Customer Support, and other related groups
• Apply or adapt QA techniques to the business model and customer needs
• Communicate issues, testing status, and potential risks effectively
• Collaborate with global customers, business users, and IT staff
• Manage and maintain QA environments, builds, and deployments
• Design and develop test automation solutions using Cucumber, Selenium, and other suitable technologies
