Senior Resiliency Platform Engineer

Requirements:

• Strong insurance-domain knowledge, including how carriers organize technology around lines of business and how to represent those distinctions in a technical service catalog.
• Strong experience with Datadog and ServiceNow, including Datadog Service Catalog, APM tagging conventions, monitor configuration, and ServiceNow CMDB data such as cmdb_ci_service and relationship tables.
• Ability to assess data quality, matching heuristics, and the reliability and limitations of information across systems.
• Experience driving adoption of shared platforms, tools, or engineering standards through thoughtful incentives and low-friction onboarding.
• Experience delivering phased, metrics-driven rollouts across multiple independent teams.
• Strong Python and automation experience, including building and maintaining production-grade data-matching and ETL pipelines using fuzzy matching, scoring, and join logic across varied data sources.
• Preferred: Experience with GitLab, including CI Visibility and project or group tagging; Backstage or similar internal developer portals; service dependency mapping; and system-of-record and provenance patterns in catalog or CMDB environments.

Responsibilities:

• Apply insurance-domain knowledge to map carrier technology structures into a technical service catalog while preserving meaningful business distinctions.
• Work with Datadog Service Catalog, APM tagging conventions, and monitor configuration.
• Work with ServiceNow CMDB data, including cmdb_ci_service and relationship tables, and assess data quality and cross-system matching.
• Encourage engineering teams to adopt shared tools and standards through incentives and easy onboarding.
• Support phased, metrics-driven platform and framework rollouts across independent teams.
• Build and maintain production-grade Python automation for data matching and ETL, including fuzzy matching, scoring, and joins across heterogeneous sources.
