Senior Software Engineer Evaluation

Requirements:

• Strong programming ability in C/C++, Python, and software design.
• A solid foundation in mathematics and theoretical computer science, including areas such as linear algebra, calculus, graph theory, computational geometry, combinatorial optimization, stochastic processes, and complexity analysis.
• Engineering discipline or strong interest and potential in building large-scale systems, with the ability to improve performance while controlling complexity and cost.
• Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience processing large datasets and familiarity with real-time systems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, structured engineering environment.
• Full-stack experience across front-end and back-end development is preferred.
• Experience with statistical analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build end-to-end data pipelines and toolchains for large-scale data collection, batch processing, curation, and multidimensional evaluation.
• Develop high-performance backend services and distributed architectures for large-scale, real-time event processing.
• Work across business areas to lead the design of system-level evaluation metrics, testing frameworks, and advanced simulation environments.
• Apply and enhance open-source distributed technologies to strengthen infrastructure and improve processing efficiency.
• Lead key architectural decisions and technology choices, maintaining high standards for security, stability, scalability, and performance.
• Establish and maintain system monitoring, detailed observability metrics, and automated alerting to support low-latency, reliable production operations.
• Build and optimize downstream LLM workflows, guiding model reasoning programmatically, setting guardrails, and reducing hallucinations to improve output reliability.

The annual base salary range for this role is $120,000–$220,000; actual pay may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
