Senior Staff Full-stack Engineer (Remote)

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field, such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud), and data architecture.
• Preferred: Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Preferred: 12+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, and SPA frameworks), designing and building distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.
• Preferred: 12+ years of professional coding experience with commonly used languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
• Preferred: 10+ years of experience with databases and database management systems.
• Preferred: 12+ years of professional experience across the full system development lifecycle, from conception and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Preferred: 10+ years of experience with cloud-based productivity tools or virtualization technologies.
• Preferred: 12+ years of experience with networking protocols and integration with third-party distributed systems.
• Preferred: 7+ years of experience mentoring senior engineers and supporting professional development within technical teams.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience leading cross-domain architectural reviews or establishing coding and design standards.
• Preferred: Expertise in strategically applying agentic AI coding tools to address systemic development challenges.

The role offers a location-based annual salary range: $286,200–$326,700 for remote, Chicago, Plano, or Richmond; $314,800–$359,300 in McLean; and $343,400–$392,000 in New York or San Francisco. The position may also qualify for performance-based incentives, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
