Senior UX Designer

Requirements:

• Strong UX/UI experience creating responsive web applications.
• Experience designing native iOS and Android applications is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or another regulated industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to explain design decisions and support recommendations with user research and evidence.
• A portfolio showcasing design craft, accessibility, attention to detail, edge-case handling, and problem-solving.
• Experience collaborating across functions with product managers, engineers, and technical leads.
• Self-directed approach and ability to manage multiple fast-moving initiatives.
• Proficiency in Figma and an accessibility-minded design approach.
• Ability to work remotely with some overlap with Pacific Time business hours; West Coast candidates are preferred, though applicants in other U.S. time zones are considered.
• Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities:

• Design responsive web experiences for customer acquisition, with potential work on mobile web and web experiences embedded in native apps.
• Plan, conduct, and facilitate user interviews and other research, then translate findings into actionable design decisions.
• Share design work, research insights, and rationale with product leadership each week.
• Work with product managers, engineers, and designers to shape strategy and near-term tactics.
• Advocate for the needs of patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, and improve colleagues experiences with internal tools.
• Proactively develop design ideas and own initiatives that affect the broader product portfolio.
• Help foster a constructive design culture by welcoming feedback and respectful disagreement.
• Research, design, test, and iterate in a rapid-cycle Figma-based environment.

We are recruiting for a remote Senior UX Designer role focused on customer acquisition experiences for a Type 2, non-insulin Medicare audience. The work is feature-focused and takes place in a regulated context, with accessibility and quality as key priorities. The hourly W-2 rate is $58–$62; compensation decisions may take skills, experience, and other compensable factors into account.
