Senior Verification Engineer

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Verification Engineer to support the development and validation of advanced power electronics solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with next-generation industrial drive technology, testing and validating products before they are released to the market.

Responsibilities

• Execute verification, validation, R&D, and type testing activities for new power electronics products
• Build and configure test environments, perform measurements, and document test results
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to hardware and software performance
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, certification specialists, and external stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods and laboratory practices

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in testing, commissioning, installation, or validation of frequency converters, industrial drives, power electronics, or automation systems
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to testing
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Proactive and self-driven working style

Considered an Advantage

• Experience with frequency converter design, control systems, or power electronics development
• Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems
• EMC testing experience
• Familiarity with product safety standards and certification processes
• Previous experience training, mentoring, or coaching colleagues

• Location: Helsinki (primarily on-site)
• Allocation: 100%
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months
