ServiceNow Developer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB.
• Experience developing and customizing Discovery Patterns.
• Experience with Service Graph Connectors or comparable CMDB data ingestion solutions.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure discovery, configuration items, and CMDB data quality.
• Experience customizing ServiceNow solutions beyond out-of-the-box implementations.
• Valid U.S. work authorization.
• Preferred: Python scripting or development experience, AWS or cloud discovery experience, and IT Asset Management knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and support ServiceNow Discovery capabilities in enterprise environments.
• Build and customize Discovery Patterns to onboard servers, infrastructure, and network devices into the CMDB.
• Configure and support Service Graph Connectors and CMDB data ingestion processes.
• Troubleshoot Discovery failures, pattern issues, connectivity challenges, and CMDB data quality concerns.
• Validate configuration items and their relationships, and improve CMDB accuracy.
• Work with infrastructure, cloud, network, server, IT asset management, and operations teams.
• Use AI-assisted development tools, such as Copilot or ChatGPT, to improve development efficiency.
