SharePoint Migration Specialist

Requirements:

• Experience with website, intranet, SharePoint, or content migration initiatives
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational abilities
• Experience handling large volumes of digital content
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting with limited supervision
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and content management systems
• Preferred: experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Viva Connections, or intranet platforms
• Preferred: background in marketing, communications, or digital content management

Responsibilities:

• We migrate existing content, documents, pages, and resources from our current intranet site to Pulse
• We review and organize content structure to support consistency and easier navigation
• We update formatting, links, metadata, and page layouts as needed during migration
• We conduct quality assurance checks to confirm content accuracy and functionality
• We collaborate with Marketing and business stakeholders to prioritize migration work
• We document migration processes and monitor progress against project timelines
• We identify and escalate content issues, gaps, or opportunities for improvement

We have a short-term project in Nashville, TN focused on moving content from a legacy intranet platform to our Pulse intranet site. The role partners closely with marketing stakeholders to ensure content is transferred accurately, organized clearly, formatted properly, and optimized within the new platform.
