Requirements:

• Bachelors degree.
• Professional software engineering experience developing applications, integrating APIs, and working with cloud platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and turn business needs into detailed technical specifications and production code.
• Strong knowledge of spec-driven development, acceptance criteria, and test-driven validation.
• Practical understanding of human-led AI collaboration, including defining bounded tasks, using human review checkpoints, and validating outputs.
• Solid foundation in secure software development, version control, automated testing, and secure credential handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience independently maintaining and improving an existing codebase.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong documentation practices.
• Preferred: Strong Node.js proficiency and experience with MongoDB.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Functions, Azure Queues, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Preferred: Experience integrating security and developer tools through APIs, such as Wiz, Blackduck, Microsoft Graph, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
• Preferred: Background developing cybersecurity automations or security metrics visualization tools.

Responsibilities:

• Own, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot cybersecurity automations, web applications, dashboards, and tool integrations.
• Develop clean, efficient Node.js code using Azure Functions and event-driven Azure cloud architectures.
• Connect security and engineering tools through APIs to normalize data and automate ticketing workflows.
• Apply responsible, human-in-the-loop agentic coding practices by breaking work into tasks, providing context, and thoroughly testing and security-checking AI-generated contributions.
• Create actionable dashboards that clearly report enterprise cybersecurity posture metrics.
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and set acceptance criteria before implementation.
• Keep documentation comprehensive, align automation backlogs, and continually improve CI/CD and deployment workflows.
