Software Developer - Java/C#

Requirements:

• We require at least 3 years of software development experience.
• We require experience with Java and knowledge of SQL Server.
• We prefer experience with complex systems, large volumes of data, high-traffic databases, and optimizing for speed and efficient resource use.
• We prefer experience with C#, XML, JSON, XSL, REST APIs, HTML, JavaScript, and AWS.
• Applicants must reside in Indiana, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, or Virginia.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Java programs within our scraping framework to collect job content from websites and feeds.
• Assess websites to determine suitable scraping methods.
• Create and maintain data-scraping programs and management software.
• Work with our staff to understand and address our members needs.

This is a full-time, direct-hire software engineering role in our Product Development department, focused primarily on Java and C# development with SQL Server and Windows Server systems. The position is remote, with occasional travel to our Indianapolis headquarters potentially required, and the workday must include core hours from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
