Software Engineer - Cloud Engineering (C++)

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on software development and cloud engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++ or an equivalent language, as well as Python.
• Practical operational knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and independently set priorities and deliver results.
• Preferred: Experience developing distributed data management systems, such as NetApp ONTAP or similar platforms.
• Preferred: Advanced certification in AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Preferred: Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Preferred: Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools.

Responsibilities:

• Build a strong understanding of our cloud data management and storage solutions, including their dependencies and limitations.
• Contribute throughout the product development lifecycle, including design, development, test automation, debugging, support, and resolution of significant customer issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Research ambiguous or unstructured problems and turn unclear requirements into well-defined ones.
• Collaborate with cloud partners and internal engineering teams to address customer and market needs, technology advances, product quality, cost, and time-to-market.
• Share knowledge and learn with peers, contributing to continuous improvement.

The target salary range is $147,900–$220,000 in on-target earnings; final compensation depends on location, qualifications, experience, and education and may fall outside this range.
