Software Supportability Manager

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or a closely related discipline
• Relevant supportability engineering experience in a highly regulated industry
• Understanding of hardware, software, firmware, data, and network infrastructure in integrated solutions and environments for Defence products
• Understanding of systems engineering principles

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist input on software and cyber-related topics and contribute to programme IPS Element Plans
• Define software maintenance concepts
• Create software support requirements and ensure their integration into system design
• Support the development of Software Support Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) activities
• Assess software obsolescence and the need for technology refresh
• Prepare Software Maintenance Analysis Reports, Software Support Analysis Reports, and Software Support Case Reports
• Lead a small, experienced, and collaborative team
