Requirements:
- We require a bachelors degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, we will consider candidates with at least 8 years of directly applicable experience.
- We are looking for strong knowledge of Verilog for logic design.
- We value programming experience in C for embedded systems, including algorithm development, data structure handling, and highly optimized code implementation.
- Experience using lab equipment such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG/ICE debuggers, and protocol analyzers is preferred.
- Familiarity with hardware, software, and firmware development practices such as design verification, code reviews, unit testing, prototyping, and product testing is highly desirable.
- We prefer candidates with familiarity using version control tools such as Subversion, Git, or TFS.
- A solid understanding of digital design principles, logic architecture, and HDL languages such as Verilog and VHDL is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog verification methodologies such as AVM, VMM, OVM, or UVM is a plus.
- Experience developing C# source code for bare-metal microcontroller environments is preferred.
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written, are important.
- We seek candidates who are action-oriented, well organized, and able to respond to short-notice requests.
Responsibilities:
- We analyze requirements, define architecture, and design and debug FPGA, hardware, microcontroller products, and related firmware.
- We develop Verilog HDL solutions targeting antifuse and enhanced flash FPGAs.
- We investigate functional issues and performance behavior in test environments and on target host systems.
- We contribute to process improvements that strengthen hardware-firmware quality and help accelerate time to market.
- We support the development of next-generation electronic safe and arm devices using modern technologies.
- We focus on Verilog FPGA design, SystemVerilog UVM verification, and C#-based microcontroller development as core parts of the role.
- We work on ASIC and FPGA designs that include sensor interfaces, sequence verification, A/D and D/A interfaces, communication protocols, state machines, and timer chains for defense applications.
