Systems Administrator

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in a related field, or two years of experience as a systems or network administrator.
• Experience with various operating systems and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and security protocols.
• Experience with databases and relevant management software.
• Ability to create automation scripts.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware; manage user accounts and access permissions; and ensure proper network cabling and software setup.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, configure network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls, and monitor network performance.
• Administer network servers and technology tools, maintain server security and performance, and manage network backups.
• Implement security measures, conduct security audits, and protect systems using access controls and firewalls in accordance with company policy.
• Provide technical support to employees, respond to service requests, and train users on system functions.
• Document system configurations and procedures, track system performance and support tickets, and prepare custom reports.
• Collaborate with IT professionals, research hardware and software solutions, keep up with industry developments, and assist with software integrations as needed.
• Manage communications systems, phones, networks, cabling, hardware, security systems, and other electronic infrastructure.
• Oversee IT systems at our location, provide customer service, work as part of a team toward performance goals, and communicate about IT needs as required.

We are National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC), and we are seeking a customer-focused Systems Administrator to join our team. This is a fully on-site position with potential travel, possible on-call availability, and flexible work hours. The role may involve extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting, occasional lifting of computer equipment, and safely operating boom and scissor lifts to work at elevated heights.
