UI/UX Developer (Cleared)

Requirements:

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Demonstrated experience in both UI/UX design and front-end software development
• Experience creating application screens, workflows, and interactive prototypes with Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent tools
• Experience developing user interfaces with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience with mobile application development using React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, or equivalent technologies
• Strong understanding of responsive design, user-centered design principles, and current UI/UX practices
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs or other backend services
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Preferred: Experience with ECUs and Fill Devices (e.g., SKL)

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Create wireframes, screen layouts, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Implement interfaces using modern front-end frameworks and technologies
• Design and develop mobile application interfaces for iOS and/or Android
• Collaborate with backend developers and systems engineers to connect interfaces with application services and APIs
• Establish reusable UI components, design patterns, and consistent application styling
• Account for usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and performance in application designs
• Turn customer requirements and operational workflows into practical application interfaces
• Support iterative development, testing, and refinements based on stakeholder feedback

The role combines visual design and hands-on development, taking concepts from initial wireframes through functional implementation, with particular emphasis on mobile applications. You will work independently and alongside software engineers and stakeholders to turn complex technical needs into effective user experiences. This is an on-site position.
