Web Developer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional web development experience, ideally building customer-facing websites for conversion-focused businesses that generate revenue, leads, bookings, or transactions.
• Strong front-end skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive and mobile development, and modern front-end technologies.
• Extensive WordPress development experience, including custom themes and plugins, APIs, multisite configurations, performance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong PHP and back-end development skills, with the ability to work independently across the full technology stack.
• Understanding of digital marketing, UX, customer behavior, and conversion optimization, including translating business and marketing objectives into effective digital experiences.
• Knowledge of SEO and website performance best practices, including site architecture, internal linking, page experience, site speed, and Core Web Vitals.
• Project ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills; experience leading development from concept through deployment and collaborating with Marketing, SEO, Design, and Data teams.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proactive, self-directed, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to quality, continuous improvement, and delivering on commitments.

• Develop websites with a customer-focused approach, considering how design, content, UX, navigation, and calls to action affect conversion.
• Lead development projects from concept through deployment, delivering on commitments.
• Use critical thinking to solve complex problems and find simpler, more effective solutions.
• Test, optimize, and improve digital experiences over time.
