Ab Initio Developer - Tampa

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of Oracle PL/SQL or SQL experience, including SQL tuning and developing packages, triggers, functions, and procedures.
• 5+ years of ETL experience with Ab Initio or Informatica, including hands-on development of complex ETL applications; Ab Initio experience is required.
• Strong UNIX knowledge and experience with data conversion or migration.
• Knowledge of Ab Initio Co>Operate.
• Experience working in an onsite-offshore model.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and internal customer management skills.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business and functional requirements into technical design documents and lead the development team in delivering solutions.
• Design, build, maintain, implement, integrate, and test complex Ab Initio graphs, plans, ETL applications, and analytics solutions.
• Lead report architecture and optimize SQL query performance while maintaining data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysis, Product Assurance, Platforms and Infrastructure, Business Office, Controls, and Production Support.
• Identify and proactively address issues affecting system performance, reliability, usability, or delivery; communicate risks and challenges early.
• Analyze complex data problems and develop solutions compatible with existing infrastructure.
• Take responsibility for solution delivery, provide effort estimates, and ensure committed work is completed on time.
• Mentor developers and organize design, code, and technical document reviews.
• Assess existing application systems to identify complexity and implementation risks.
• Recommend improvements to software architecture and development processes, and explore new technologies.
• Manage software development activities in accordance with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
