AI Engineer (Forward Deployed)

Requirements:

• Strong computer science degree
• At least 3 years of industry experience
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and directly with customers
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills in production environments
• Track record deploying data-heavy or AI-enabled applications
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time
• Interest in the pace and ownership of a startup environment
• Preferred: Prior forward-deployed or customer-facing engineering experience
• Preferred: Hands-on production experience with ML, LLMs, or agentic systems
• Preferred: Frontend experience, ideally with React

Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy LLM-powered and agentic systems, including retrieval-augmented applications
• Move generative AI features from prototypes into reliable production use
• Evaluate and maintain the reliability of deployed systems
• Work directly with enterprise customers to turn ambiguous real-world problems into practical software solutions
