AI Practice Lead - Insurance

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a data science lead, machine learning engineering lead, or in a similar role in insurance, reinsurance, brokerage, managing general agency or underwriting, risk management or loss control, or insurance and reinsurance consulting
• 5+ years of leadership experience with team management responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Hands-on experience in at least one area: computer vision, natural language processing, recommender systems, or time series analytics
• Experience with machine learning engineering and production delivery, including ML/LLMOps and cloud platforms
• Knowledge of technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, or agentic orchestration tools, including LangChain, Omnigent, or Semantic Kernel
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language, ideally Python
• Understanding of data science engineering excellence and the modern software development lifecycle for AI products
• Consulting experience in a professional services environment

Responsibilities:

• Partner with clients and internal teams to shape our AI, machine learning, and agentic business and technology vision and go-to-market offerings
• Manage data science, AI, and agentic projects and programs from start to finish
• Lead multidisciplinary workshops and design sessions with customers
• Develop high-quality proposals with subject matter experts and consultants
• Help advance our data science, AI, and agentic offerings
• Build team capacity and capabilities, develop new competencies, mentor team members, and champion transformation with stakeholders
